Class Prerequisites
Rhyme, Rhythm & Motion
Exclusively for 2-year-olds! Must be 2 to start the class
Baby Ballet
30 min 3-year-old ballet - must be 3 to start the class
Tap/Ballet: 4-year-olds
Dancers must be 4 years old by October 15
Tap/Ballet: 5 to 6-year-olds
Dancers must be 5 years old by October 15, this is also a great class for 6-year-old beginners!
Acro I
intro to acrobatics for 3-5 year olds, must be 3 years old to start
Acro II
intro to acrobatics for ages 6 and up, must be 6 years old by October 15
Acro III
Intermediate level acrobatics, must have a standing bridge and ability to kick over, front limber, right and left cartwheels, handstand, forward roll, headstand in tuck position
Acro IV (formerly called Company Acro)
Must be placed by instructor
Ballet I, Jazz I, Tap I, and Hip Hop I
Must be entering the 1st grade in the fall
Ballet II, III, IV, Teen Ballet
Must be placed by an instructor
Ballet Pre-Tech
Dancers placed in Ballet III or Ballet IV may take this class in addition to or in place of Ballet III or Ballet IV, this class will not participate in the recital.
Ballet Tech I, II, III, IV, and V
Must be placed by instructor, these classes will not participate in the recital
Pre-Pointe
Must be placed by instructor, these classes will not participate in the recital. Class is taken in ballet shoes.
Pointe I, II, III, and Adv. Variations
must be placed by instructor, these classes will not participate in the recital unless otherwise noted by instructor.
Int Tap, Jr Tap, Teen Tap
Must be placed by an instructor.
Jazz II, III, IV
Must be placed by an instructor.
Jazz Technique
This class will focus on stretching and basic jazz technique for students who are in Jazz II through Jazz IV, this class will not participate in the recital.
Hip Hop II, Jr Hip Hop, Int Hip Hop, Teen Hip Hop
Must be placed by an instructor.
Lyrical I
Must have taken a full year of ballet class while in 1st grade or up and students should be at least 7 years old
Musical Theater I
Broadway-style dancing and acting class, must be entering the 1st grade in the fall, a year of Jazz I is strongly recommended
Jr, Teen, and Sr Hip Hop Crews
By audition only for ages 7 and up, competitive level
Jr and Sr Lyrical
Must be placed by an instructor.
Musical Theater II and III
Must be placed by an instructor.
Jazzettes & Company Classes
By audition only, competitive level
Performance Company Combo & Improv
For Mini Perf/Elite Co, Jr Perf/Elite Co, and Teen Performance Co - class will focus on different style combinations as well as improv techniques, this class will not participate in the recital.
Adult Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Tap
Beg/Int level for ages 18 and up, recital dance optional.
